Terms of service
The agreement between you and us when you use Genius Astrology.

1. Who we are
Genius Astrology is operated by Top Focus LLC, 701 Tillery Street, Unit 12-1251, Austin, TX 78702, United States ("we"). Contact: hello@geniusastrology.com. By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. What the service is
Genius Astrology calculates astrological charts, transits and related readings from the birth data you enter. It is offered for reflection, study and enjoyment. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not predict the future. Decisions you make remain yours.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. Enter only birth data you are entitled to use. You may not abuse the service, scrape it, resell it, or try to get around its limits.
4. Plans, payment and cancellation
A free plan exists with limits. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the subscription page; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed. Prices are shown before you pay. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice by email.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you may withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, by emailing us. Because the service starts as soon as you pay, you agree that we may begin immediately, and if you withdraw we refund the price minus the share of the period already used. Outside that window, and outside the EU and UK, fees are not refundable except where the law says otherwise, but write to us if something went wrong and we will be fair.
6. Your data and content
Your birth data and charts stay yours. You give us the licence needed to store and compute them for you, nothing more. How we handle personal data is described on the privacy page, which forms part of these terms.
7. Our content
The software, design, texts and readings are ours or licensed to us. You may use the charts and readings we produce for you for personal purposes. Do not republish the service's content commercially without asking.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change or retire features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, you may cancel and we refund the unused remainder of the period.
9. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or anything that cannot be limited under the law of the country you live in.
10. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents it.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply, and you may bring a claim in your home courts. We will always try to settle a disagreement by email first.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
